Airbus has taken emergency measures by grounding approximately 6,000 A320 aircraft worldwide after a software bug was discovered in the flight control computer systems. The move comes as a precaution following an incident involving a JetBlue aircraft that suddenly lost altitude without pilot input, raising serious safety concerns. Airlines across multiple countries have promptly delayed or canceled flights using the A320, while Airbus is working closely with aviation authorities to ensure all planes are thoroughly inspected before being cleared to fly again.

The issue lies within the ELAC (Elevator and Aileron Computer), which controls the movement of the aircraft's elevators and ailerons.
